Fred B. Hand III
In business for more than 30 years, Fred B. Hand III has extensive commercial development experience. Founding Hand Properties in 1985, he has completed 3,000,000 square feet of commercial development across North America. After completing his MBA and undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, he joined the Trans Atlantic Group in Atlanta, an international real estate company, as Director of Real Estate Acquisitions; Fred later joined Seefried Properties, Inc. as Director of Acquisitions & Development.
William D. Fitch, Jr.
Bill Fitch has 45 years of experience in real estate lending, investments, development and financial analysis. Prior to joining Hand Properties in 2005, Bill spent 12 years with SouthTrust Bank as Group Vice President of Commercial Real Estate. During his tenure, he produced in excess of $2 billion in construction loans for office buildings, apartments, warehouses, condominiums, shopping centers and land development. He was responsible for managing a personal portfolio of more than $400 million.
Fred B. Hand IV
Over the course of his career, Fred B. Hand IV has delivered projects with a total market value of more than $400 million. Fred began his career as an Assistant Project Manager for The Sembler Company in Atlanta. Joining Hand Properties in 2009, Fred oversees site selection, project budgeting, civil and architectural design coordination, entitlements and tenant approval. He serves as the primary contact with retailers' Real Estate departments and prepares all tenant specific site packages and required due diligence items. Fred graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Real Estate.
Michael Lant has amassed more than 30 years of experience in real estate development, architecture and construction. The majority of his experience has been leading and managing the development process from site acquisition through construction.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Michael moved to Atlanta in 1986 to work with Hooker Barnes Development Company which later became LJ Hooker Development Company. He later spent three years with New Market Development Company prior to its acquisition by Cousins Properties, where he spent nine years as Vice President of Development. Over the course of his career, Michael has managed the construction of more than 2.5 million square feet of development.
Bruce Coward has worked in the real estate industry for more than 30 years. His primary focus has been retail leasing representing both developers and tenants, as well as brokering land assemblages and acquisitions.
A native of North Carolina and graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Bruce began his career in Atlanta in 1982. In the subsequent three plus decades, he has negotiated more than 200 retail leases and brokered more than $75 million in raw land acquisitions.
Bill Broms has spent more than 15 years driving profitable business and real estate investments including $1.6 billion in new development and acquisitions for Realty Income Corporation and Cole Real Estate Investments (currently: VEREIT). Well-recognized as an industry expert, Bill has consulted for numerous public and private real estate funds and development firms providing his expertise and advisory on various sale-leaseback assignments for corporations and private equity firms throughout North America. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The College of Business at the University of Illinois and MBA from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
